Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a showroom?
Yardgames is an online only retailer.  We offer an extensive product range, reaching customers all over New Zealand with the convenience of shopping from the comfort of home.  We endeavour to provide as much information as possible about our products to enable you to make an informed decision.

Is my order 'in stock'?
All items are in stock unless marked 'out of stock' or 'pre order'.

What is the estimated arrival time for 'pre orders'?
This will depend on our international shipping schedule.  An item will be available on 'pre order' when there is an approximate arrival date available.  When there is no date available, the item will show as 'out of stock'. Please contact us on sales@yardgames.co.nz to get the most up to date ETA.

Can we collect our order?
This is on a case by case basis as our warehouse is not staffed full time. Our freight costs are competitive and we often find cheaper than the costs associated with a customer pick up.

Does the warranty cover commercial (including hire) use?
Products are warranted on the basis they are for private domestic use. Use in a commercial situation (school, business for profit or for community, where there is general public access or any other situation normally deemed to be commercial) voids the manufacturers warranty.

If an item is out of stock can I back order?
Depending on availability from our distributor, yes you can.  We ask for 30% deposit to back order items, with the balance payable upon arrival into New Zealand.

Can I order an item from the Yardgames Australia website (www.yardgames.com.au)?
Depending on availability, yes you can.  A 30% deposit for back order items applies, with the balance payable upon arrival into New Zealand.  Please contact us via sales@yardgames.co.nz for the item(s) to be priced in NZD landed in Auckland.

What happens if I change my mind?
Yardgames cannot take goods back on a change of mind basis. We endeavour to provide as much information about the product as possible so your decision to purchase is an informed one.  Please feel free to contact us should you need further information prior to making your purchase.

Can I cancel an order?
With any cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot cancel an order once it has entered the shipping process. In the event that the product is shipped, you will be charged for the order. if you wish to cancel your order, contact us ASAP using the details below and quote your order number.

Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, payment can be made via Paypal (using Visa or Mastercard).  Please note, Yardgames is a trading name for Morgan Haldane Ltd and your credit card transaction will show the payment to Morgan Haldane Ltd.

Where are you based?
We are an Auckland based company.  Our products are dispatched from one of several distribution centres throughout New Zealand.
